Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, one of the oldest banks in Indonesia, which was founded in 1940s. It is the 8th largest bank by assets and has 337 branches and offices and 759 ATMs located across the country, with more than 6,500 employees. The bank is owned and managed by Singaporean banking and financial group. Having to grow with more than 200 tech team in 2 years, our client is still rapidly expanding and building their digital banking products.

Responsibilities

• Install, uninstall, and configure host servers for virtualization environments, with a strong emphasis on VMWare.
• Perform patching and upgrades of virtualization servers, ensuring they are up to date and secure.
• Monitor the capacity and performance of both physical and virtual server resources within the virtualization environment.
• Execute server cloning processes from production to UAT, following the RFC (Request for Change) process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to server virtualization, with a focus on VMWare.
• Ensure the availability of the data center meets the Division’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Provide first-level support for virtualization-related problems, offering timely and effective solutions.
• Provide second-level support for Data Center operations, with an emphasis on VMWare and Storage systems.
• Support project environments such as Development (Dev), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist in the implementation and execution of Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
• Take responsibility for ESX, Storage, Citrix, VDI, and related technologies, with an emphasis on VMWare and Storage systems.

Requirement

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in managing virtualization server environments.
• Strong expertise in VMWare virtualization technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with storage systems, especially in the context of virtualization (preferred experience with SAN/NAS).
• Proficient in performing patching and upgrades for virtualization servers, with a focus on VMWare.
• Solid understanding of server capacity planning and performance monitoring in virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with server cloning processes and adherence to RFC (Request for Change) procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve virtualization server issues effectively.
• Knowledge of data center operations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Doesn’t have a jumpy working history
• Max 35 years old
