We look for A+ engineering leader who is intrigued to build a 0 to 1 new business within a sizeable company while also building large-scale internal systems.
You will lead two engineering squads – one for internal systems (supply chain, finance, sales ops) and one for our content-to-commerce platform, first of its kind in Indonesia.
As the technology leader of the company, you will be given strong trust from the founders and will work closely in key strategic issues for the company. You are expected to also bring in the right engineering culture for the company and build your own engineering team.
- Design and implement the best IT architecture for the product
- Monitor, supervise, and create reports on the tech team performance and find areas for improvement
- Managing day-to-day tech activities for the team
- Responsible for ensuring that products meet design requirements and deliver a consistent experience for users
- Maintaining technology compliance with quality standards
- Recommends new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency
- More than 9 years of experience in software development (web and mobile) and at least 5 years in leading a team
- Preferably have a leading experience in a content-based consumer apps company, or social media platform where engagement and retention of users are key
- Comfortable building team at 0 to 1 level and later scale it to larger scale
- Deep understanding and passion in the start-up world
- Strong leadership skill & proven experience in leading an agile development team
- Experience in frontend and backend development
- Knowledge in the following areas:
- Website development
- Data warehouse
- Consumer apps
- Understanding IT Infrastructure and Architecture
- Well-versed in agile methodologies, TDD, continuous integration, and software delivery practices
- Experience developing end-to-end products across mobile and backend at scale
- Experience in recruiting engineers, and also shaping and growing a team of engineers
