Geekhunter is hiring on behalf our client: a city-based infrastructure of battery swapping stations for e-motorcycle riders. The company is using a 4G technology-based battery exchange system for electric motors as tough as conventional motors. Established in 2019, the company distributes and utilizes energy in the palm of your hand, bringing speed and timeliness at a much more efficient cost. The company has also launched their e-motorcycle product and currently operating in Jakarta, Batam, and Makassar.

Job Descriptions

  • You will lead team of UI/UX Designers
  • Mentor and coach a team of designers to be able to deliver the best design implementations
  • Help define and develop product design roadmap, goals, and vision for the product
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering lead to represent the Design Team, lead design initiatives, and provide feedback in product planning
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure the proper designs are implemented into production
  • Help improve and develop an appropriate workflow for the Design Team
  • Help strengthen the research process to ensure it translated into actionable insights and convince the stakeholders
  • Create neat design documentation and help establish processes to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Able to speak up and communicate substantially to his team, leader or management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Technology, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, HCI, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in product design, leading and managing a Design Team or Project Team with an exceptional portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions
  • Strong understanding Human Psychology and Behaviour
  • Good knowledge in design fundamentals, such as design thinking frameworks and able to take on a structured approach in solving problems
  • Experience in conducting user research through various methods and have abilities to translate research findings into tangible and actionable results
  • Strong knowledge in User Interface and User Experience Design for the web, mobile, or touch devices
  • Understand about responsive design
  • Experience with Figma, Marvel, Zeplin or other design tools
  • Ability to prototype and demonstrate design concepts to extended stakeholders with inVision, Principle, or Framer tools
  • Always update to the latest design trends and tools
  • Working knowledge of common mobile and front-end web development
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and collaboration skills to manage a wide range of stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Experience using frameworks or tools such as Angular & Node.js
  • Experience in front-end development languages and able to implement design to code (HTML, CSS & JavaScript)
