Head of Finance

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client: a newly built venture focusing on games industry. The venture is backed by Indonesia’s biggest telecommunication company and Indonesia’s biggest unicorn startup company, amongst others. The company is engaging in games publishing field, and eventually aimed to be one of Indonesia’s biggest games publisher & developer companies.

Job Descriptions:

• Manage the Financial Planning and Analysis process, including developing financial forecasts, annual and long-term budget and profitability analysis of the Company and its businesses
• Collaborate with the IT team to procure and/or develop any required systems for finance & reporting
• Collaborate with senior management to define detailed finance policies, including procurement protocols and management dashboards
• Own and evolve the corporate financial model for the company for purposes of evaluating business sensitivities, funding requirements, and potential fundraising
• Participate in the evaluation of proposed businesses including new game launches, identify risks and challenges, and prepare recommendations to the senior executive team
• Develop and monitor company’s financial reports and KPIs, to ensure the Company meets its financial targets and reporting requirements
• Manage the company’s expenses and bank accounts and ensure invoices are paid on time, including payroll
• Collaborate with the Strategic Investment team to develop Board and Investor presentations
• Support the appointment and management of external auditors and maintain relevant relationships
• Hire and built out a relevant Finance & Accounting team as required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Accounting or Finance
• CA, MBA or equivalent designation highly desirable
• 5+ years of FP&A experience in Indonesia, with familiarity to local regulations
• Experience in a gaming / technology / start-up company highly preferred
• Experience in inspiring & managing small teams
• Experience leading annual budgets, forecasts, and complex multi-year financial models aligned with strategic and operating plans for both revenue and expenses
• Strong skills in communicating, presenting, and writing, as well as the ability to build budgets and financial models
• Experience in inspiring & managing small teams
• Executive level communication experience including reporting, presentations, etc.
• Proficiency with SQL or equivalent is a plus
